Do you have sales or discount codes?
At the moment, we don’t have sales or discount codes, as all our books are already 20% off RRP, but we may have some in the future.
Will you be selling more books?
Absolutely! We're just getting started as a small business, so while growth may take a little time, we're working hard behind the scenes to expand our selection. We'll be releasing new book picks frequently—so there’s always something fresh and exciting on the way.
Got a title you think we should include? We’d love to hear your recommendations!
Will you be selling the whole series or just the first book?
We’re starting with the first book in the series, but don’t worry — the rest are on their way!
We’ll be releasing the following titles over time, so you’ll be able to continue the story soon. Keep an eye out for updates!
Where do you ship to and how much does it cost?
Right now, we’re only shipping within the United Kingdom, but we hope to expand to international readers soon!
We use Evri for all our deliveries, and you’ll have two options at checkout:
Flat-rate shipping for a simple, predictable cost
Or, you can choose to calculate your shipping through Evri based on your location and preferences.
Orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days

Can I return my order?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at support@thereadingcrate.com. Eligible returns in the United Kingdom can be collected from your delivery address by our agents at no cost to you. If you would rather not have a visited collection, you will be able to send eligible items back to us using the returns address on your delivery packaging. The latter option will be at your own cost, if chosen.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not United Kingdom, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
You can also return an item if you change your mind about the item you ordered. For customer remorse returns, you will send the item back to us in its new and unused condition within 30 days of the day you received it. Once we receive the item, we will inspect it to ensure it is in its unused condition. Upon satisfactory inspection, we will issue a refund to value of the price you paid for the item at the time you ordered it.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
